Overview
Primary English helps pupils develop fluency in reading, clear written expression, and confident speaking and listening skills. Lessons combine guided instruction with creative tasks so learners build both technical accuracy and personal voice.
Children explore a broad range of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry while strengthening grammar, punctuation, spelling, and composition. The course is designed to prepare pupils for the language demands of Lower Secondary study.

There are no external exams for this subject - only internal assessments.
Course Duration
The Primary programme runs across Key Stage 2 (Years 4 to 6). Students have access to live online lessons, interactive learning materials and regular teacher support throughout the programme.
Entry Requirements
- Students should be aged 8 to 11 (Years 4 to 6)
- A prior school report or internal placement assessment may be required
- Students whose English is not their first language will be assessed for English proficiency at an age-appropriate level
